Last week I posted an initial version APB master. This week is an updated APB and an initial AHB master. These are open-source verilog BFMs packaged and ready for use in MiniTB, an open-source responsible development platform.
The APB master is complete and offers full support for read and write transactions.
The initial version of the AHB master offers support for basic read and write useful for modeling point-to-point AHB communication. Over the coming days and weeks, we’ll incrementally add support for wait states, burst transfers and bus arbitration.
The MiniTB Getting Started page is the best place to ramp up on MiniTB. Usage examples for both the APB and AHB master BFMs are included with instructions on how to run them.
If you’re using the MiniTB AHB master to build IP and you want to help guide new feature development, we’d be happy to have a real customer! Just get a hold of me at neil.johnson@agilesoc.com and tell me what you need ;).
