Next week is SNUG in San Jose and I’m looking forward to it. I’ll be presenting How UVM Makes the Case For Unit Testing in the Verification I track from 10:30-12 on Tuesday morning and would love to see some AgileSoC followers sit in. Here’s a snapshot of the abstract from the SNUG website.
It’ll be a full 40 minutes of unit testing. I unit test my own code. I’m hoping that as we discuss how Jean-Marc and I used this simple technique to find defects in the UVM, others will see the light and give it a shot.
Or maybe you don’t care about unit testing and you’ve been waiting patiently for the perfect time to heckle me publicly. If that’s you, then SNUG will be a great opportunity you won’t want to miss! You’ll have a good 10 minutes of Q&A… me on stage… nowhere to run… nowhere to hid. You can ask your tough questions and/or ruthlessly dismantle any of my opinions on agile hardware development. It’ll be fun :).
